Flexisound Tables Set

The Flexisound grid set was developed specifically to assist the teaching of reading and writing by synthetic phonics methods, as recommended in the Rose Report (March 2006).

There are four robust gridded plastic mats in the set, and each conveniently summarises key information for an aspect of this teaching method.

Unlike their Flexitable counterparts, the "foldability" of Flexisound grids is not an integral part of their usage, but teachers will find it useful to fold the tables in order to focus attention on specific information, or to "reveal" further information by unfolding the grids as a lesson progresses.

Based on the Flexitable design, these tables have an attractive tactile quality and can withstand repeated folding and unfolding without damage, so they are ideal for the classroom situation.
